Making bonbons with Marcos

Hello!

Last week we went with some good friends to Medley Manor Farm, here at Port Meadow (Oxford). It is a farm in the middle of the fields where you can go to pick up fruits such us strawberries, raspberries, etc. It was a lovely Sunday, we all had a very good time picking up fruits, runing around with the kids, and having lunch there. They have home made food, some wooden tables and chairs and you can eat enjoying the beautiful countryside view . For me it was an amazing experience as it was the first time to be in a kind of place like this, which is very typical here in England.

We picked up lots of strawberries & raspberries

After making them we put them in this transparent wrap paper and brought them to a friend’s house who was so happy to eat them.

Here you can see the process and how much fun my son had 😉 It’s a very nice activity to do with children!

In a week I will leave Oxford… ;( it is so sad… I will miss Port Meadow and this beautiful farm, the gardens, colleges, streets, bikes everywhere, lovely playgrounds, the canal, the calm life we have here with not a lot of commitments, our house, and of course all the people we have met… Wow, it is so sad to close  this period here but at the same time it is a happy moment as I realise how lucky I have been during the past two years.

See you next week!
